California Employment Law
Thoughtful Counsel for California Employees
Practical, experienced employment law representation for workers across California's Central Coast and Central Valley. Drawing on more than 15 years of legal experience — including nine years as in-house corporate counsel — I help employees understand their rights, weigh their options, and resolve workplace disputes with confidence.
About Alex Craig
Experienced Counsel.
Considered Advice.
After graduating from McGeorge School of Law in 2009, I spent nine years as in-house counsel for two California companies. That work gave me a clear view of how employers approach workplace disputes — how complaints are investigated, how decisions are documented, and where employees most often need help navigating the process. Today, I bring that perspective to the other side of the table, advising employees throughout California's Central Coast and Central Valley.
My practice is focused on California employment law: wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and severance review. I also continue to assist a select group of clients with estate planning and personal injury matters. Whatever brings you to my office, you can expect a careful assessment, an honest read on your options, and steady guidance through what comes next.

How I Work
What to Expect When You Call
An Insider's Perspective
Nine years inside corporate legal departments means I know how employers investigate, document, and respond to employee complaints — and where the gaps tend to be.
Direct Attorney Access
You work with me, not an assistant or a rotating cast of associates. Calls and emails come back to you from the attorney handling your matter.
Discretion & Confidentiality
Employment disputes are personal. Your consultation is confidential, and you are under no obligation after we talk. Many clients reach out simply to understand where they stand.
Responsive Communication
Legal matters are stressful enough without wondering whether your attorney got your message. I respond promptly and keep you informed at every stage.
Regional Coverage
I represent clients throughout California's Central Coast and Central Valley — from Monterey and Salinas through Hollister, Watsonville, Gilroy, Modesto, and Merced.
Plain-English Counsel
Employment law is full of statutes, procedures, and deadlines. I explain what they mean for your situation in clear language so you can make informed decisions.
